About Christophe Ginisty

Christophe created at 24 years old and ran one of the leading PR agencies in France, specializing in the Internet and technology sector, Rumeur Publique.

He also founded ‘Internet sans Frontières’ (Internet without Borders) in 2007, an NGO that promotes and defends freedom of speech on the Internet, in addition to promoting education towards more effective use of the Web. He has been asked several times by the French government to work of issues related to the digital revolution.

Christophe is currently Deputy Managing Director of Edelman EMEA with the role of European Technology – Digital evangelist. Among the EMEA leadership team, Christophe is driving the development of thinking and new business for both the technology and digital practices across the EMEA network and is responsible for positioning Edelman at the cutting edge of thinking in terms of the technology and digital industries.

He was formerly a special advisor on digital strategy for François Bayrou, the leader of the National Democratic Movement (France) from 2007-2009.

Christophe is a regular contributor to the French media and currently one of the most influential bloggers in France and a sought-after speaker on the digital revolution and online crisis management.

He is also a published author of Allons, enfants de l’Internet! (publisher: Diateino), an essay on the impact of the Internet on all segments of society.
