Yannick Mireur, political scientist, specialist in the United States and American politics, is the founder and editor-in-chief of the journal Politique Américaine. A graduate of the Institute of Political Studies in Paris, he is a former student of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University in Boston, where he obtained a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in international affairs. He is a member of the Fulbright alumni.
He is also the founder of Nexus forum, an independent organization for restricted international sessions on energy and industrial issues in emerging countries. Nexus currently conducts various cycles on Russia, Mexico, Turkey, and Infrastructure in the United States.
A former collaborator of Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA), an American consulting firm in the energy sector, he was the deputy director of the Choiseul Institute, an independent center for international study and analysis, and publisher of several international politics journals.
He has also taught at the École spéciale militaire de Saint-Cyr and is a regular guest on French audiovisual media for his analysis of the United States.
