About Wim Anker
Wim Anker was born on February 27, 1953, in the hospital in Leeuwarden. His parents lived on Schiermonnikoog (mayor) at the time. After primary school, he and his brother Hans both attended the local MULO in Akkrum and then three years of HBS-A in Leeuwarden. After this, he began studying law in Groningen, where he studied from 1972 to 1977. The future was soon clear: he wanted to work in law, preferably only in criminal cases. Since there were no vacancies in the legal profession in Friesland, Wim first worked for four years as a policy officer for the TBR and Probation Service Directorate of the Ministry of Justice in The Hague. Hans was a teacher for two years at an MEAO (law and social studies). From 1979, Hans was a lawyer in Leeuwarden. Wim followed in 1981. Since 1999, they have had their own firm under the name ‘Anker & Anker Criminal Lawyers’.

- Assistance to the main board of the political party CP86 in connection with discrimination
- Assistance to nurse Martha U. in Delfzijl who was suspected of nine murders
- Assistance to general practitioner Sippe Schat who was suspected of euthanasia
- Assistance to Hans van Zon, from Utrecht, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for three proven murders
- Handling of the so-called sex cellar case in Emmercompascuum
- The baby murder case in Appelscha
- Assistance to Paul S. concerning the quadruple murder committed in Kerkrade around October 2003
- Defense of former Hells Angel Louis H., suspected of triple murder in Amsterdam
- Assistance to Paul de R. in the so-called Baarn murder case. This involved a suspicion of double murder. The Müller couple was found under the goat pen of the petting zoo where De R. was the manager.
