Vince Ebert was born in 1968 in Amorbach in the Odenwald and studied physics at the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg. After his studies, he initially worked as a management consultant at Ogilvy & Mather Dataconsult and later in market and trend research at Publicis Frankfurt.
In 1998, he simultaneously began his career as a comedian. His aim: To convey natural and social scientific contexts with the laws of humor. Vince Ebert’s stage programs “Physics is Sexy” (2004), “Thinking Pays Off” (2007), and “Freedom is Everything” (2010) quickly made him known as a science comedian who entertains both laypeople and scientific audiences with wit and humor.
His first book “Think for Yourself! Otherwise Others Will Do It for You” remained on the bestseller list for two years and sold over 400,000 copies. In September 2011, his second book “Free Yourself! Otherwise No One Will Do It for You” was published. For ARD, he is on the trail of the big and small phenomena of everyday life in his show “Wissen vor Acht – Werkstatt” just before the Tagesschau.
