Thomas Erber was born in Paris in 1970.
After international university studies, he specialized in culture, luxury, trends, and extraordinary travel to begin a career in media that continues to this day.
He began his career by actively participating in the creation and development of the magazines Jalouse and l’Optimum, to which he contributed for ten years.
Simultaneously, he worked as a senior reporter for magazines such as Vogue Homme International, Air France Magazine, Rolling Stone Italy, Australian Style, etc.
He also created and developed the television show Pink broadcast on France 2.
Finally, he created and launched the magazine l’Officiel Voyage and served as editor-in-chief of the Lifestyle supplements for the newspaper Le Monde.
Many globally recognized brands have also enlisted his services to develop their image or identity or to develop special projects, such as Cartier, Chaumet, Kitsuné, Maison Bonnet, Laq, Universal, Virgin, etc.
In 2008, he decided to branch out on his own and created his company specializing in consulting, co-branding, brand or product animation, and in areas familiar to him such as luxury, travel, or culture once again.
In 2010, at Colette, he launched his contemporary Cabinet De Curiosités, which brings together all his expertise in the form of an exhibition featuring about thirty artists, designers, and brands providing unique pieces created for this occasion… All independent and recognized worldwide for the excellence of their unique talent. This exhibition also led to the publication of a book, a magazine, the production of a private party, and a vernissage, which was also the record attendance for an opening at Colette on December 1, 2010.
He is now developing this event worldwide, with the next one taking place at Browns in London in December 2011.
This concept allows him to maintain an international network of relationships with whom he works regularly. He remains very discreet about his consulting missions, but they continue to take him to all corners of the globe.
