Thierry Peugeot is a French industrialist, representing the 8th generation of the Peugeot family. General Manager of Slica from 1997 to 2000, he was also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the PSA Peugeot Citroën group from 2002 to 2014.
After graduating from ESSEC, Thierry Peugeot joined the Marrel group where he successively held the position of Export Manager (Middle East, English-speaking Africa) and then Director of Air Marrel America.
It was only natural that he joined the Peugeot company in 1988. He took over the management of the Brazilian subsidiary in 1991. The year 1997 marked a turning point in his career within the group as he became Director of SLICA in Lyon, the main commercial subsidiary, and Peugeot dealer, in France.
He became a member of the PSA Peugeot Citroën Directors’ Committee in 2000 and was appointed two years later as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Peugeot SA.
He is a Knight of the Legion of Honor, a Knight in the National Order of Merit, and a member of Le Siècle.
