Swami Purnachaitanya (1984) is an author, speaker, and life coach. He was born in the Netherlands as Alexander and left for India after his studies, the birthplace of his mother. There, he studied under guru H.H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (international humanitarian, spiritual leader, and peace ambassador). Sri Sri appointed Alex from Leiden – as the only Westerner ever – as swami in 2012, a title for a spiritual master. He creates a unique bridge between the ancient wisdom and techniques from the East and how these can be effectively applied to help us cope with the challenges in our modern Western society.
His book Looking Inward (June 2021, original title) became an international bestseller that has now been published in more than 10 languages around the world. The Dutch edition titled Find Your Inner Strength was released in April 2022 and has sold 10,000 copies to date.
Purnachaitanya has also recorded 4 exclusive podcast series for Audible with practical life hacks based on various branches of ancient Vedic knowledge. These series will be released this year on the Audible platform worldwide.
