A researcher at the Acte Institute (University Paris 1 Sorbonne, CNRS) and thesis supervisor at the Doctoral School 583, he specializes in the phenomenology of technologies, philosophy of digital transformation and digital cultures, philosophy of design and innovation. He is the director and editor-in-chief of the journal “Sciences du Design” at the Presses Universitaires de France, and the author of five books including “Literature and the Screen: How Digital Changes Perception” (Presses Universitaires de France) and “Design” (Que sais-je?). Over 15 years, he has worked as a philosophy professor, clinical psychologist, Web & UX designer, interactive creative director, entrepreneur, and finally, academic.
