Stefan Ponsold, born in 1984, can already look back on more than 15 years of entrepreneurship despite his young age. At the tender age of 14, he was already eagerly programming the first websites and database systems for renowned companies. After graduating from HTL in Mödling in 2003, he began his career in product development and optimization at Mayr-Melnhof Holz GmbH and Doka Industrie GmbH, where he also filed several patents as the inventor of various products.

About Stefan Ponsold

After graduating from HTL in Mödling in 2003, he began his career in product development and optimization at Mayr-Melnhof Holz GmbH and Doka Industrie GmbH, where he also filed several patents as the inventor of various products. Parallel to his work, he started his Bachelor of Arts in Science in Innovation Management at Campus02 in 2007.

In 2010, he solely founded the company SunnyBAG, whose products ensured environmentally friendly energy supply for mobile devices. Following numerous innovation awards in 2011 and 2012, the company experienced very rapid growth. In 2012, it was restructured into SunnyBAG GmbH, and in 2013, the branch SunnyBAG Inc. was established in Silicon Valley.

In addition to the challenge of being an entrepreneur, Ponsold completed his Master of Arts in Business for Innovation Management in 2012. Three of his academic papers (Bachelor and thesis) were published as a book and eBook by GRIN Publishing, and his works were also included in two other books by Campus02. Since 2011, Ponsold has been a welcome guest on radio and TV discussions.

Here, he gained experience in several broadcasts on ServusTV, the ORF programs “STI–CKL” and “Im Zentrum,” as well as “Abenteuer Leben.”
