« Solidream », which began with a round-the-world bike trip, is the project of a group of friends eager to uphold their values of dreams, challenges, and sharing in the form of adventure stories, films, and conferences inspired by their travels. It brings together three young men aged 28 to 30: Brian Mathé, Morgan Monchaud, and Siphay Vera, who are thirsty for discoveries and journeys. These globetrotters had an idea: to travel the world by bike. However, they are not cyclists at the outset and were keen to include other types of adventures in their journey, such as a sailing expedition in Antarctica, descending the Yukon River on a raft built by their own hands in the Canadian Arctic, and crossing the Australian outback with traction kites. All of this was done without any physical preparation at the start, just with the desire to share moments and the challenge of covering 54,000 kilometers by bike in three years. The group’s values blend: trust in humanity, cooperation and team cohesion, cultural dialogue, risk-taking, individual-collective connection, and collective intelligence. In 2014, they published a book co-edited with Transboréal and released an award-winning feature documentary at several festivals. They continue to plan new projects in the same spirit. During conferences, these globetrotters alternate between film images and stories.
