Sjaak Swart is a former football player. He was part of the golden Ajax team of the early seventies. His nickname is ‘Mister Ajax’ because he is still very involved to this day. Sjaak has been knighted by Princess Beatrix as a knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau. He has also been honored by the KNVB as an honorary knight of the KNVB, and he is an honorary citizen of Amsterdam and an honorary member of Ajax. Sjaak is the Ajax player with the most matches in the first team: no less than 463 times he played for the club. Sjaak was a skillful and particularly fast right winger. After his career at Ajax, he continued to play enthusiastically in the amateur selection of Ajax and often plays in the occasional team of former professionals, Lucky Ajax. Currently, Sjaak works in football management.
