Rony Brauman
Humanitarian Doctor, Former President of Doctors Without Borders
Rony Brauman is a doctor, graduated in epidemiology and tropical medicine. After working several years as a field doctor, he became president of Doctors Without Borders in 1982 and held this position until 1994. He is currently a research director at the Doctors Without Borders Foundation, an associate professor at the IEP of Paris, and director of the 'Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute' (HCRI) at the University of Manchester.
