He won the Oeuvre Award for Cabaret and Kleinkunst in 2021 for all his theater programs, including An Evening with Me (2021), Great Success 2 (2019) and WHICH SHOW (2016), which was also previously nominated for the Poelifinario. Together with Fedor van Eldijk, he wrote the bestseller The Alphabet Master (2013), a dictionary with 1000 new, nonsensical words, and its sequel, The Alphabet Better. Together, they have been publishing a tear-off calendar every four years since 2016, The Frightening Calendar.
Previously, he was a columnist for, among others, De Volkskrant and Onze Taal. On television, he presented RamBam (BNNVARA, 2011-2016) and The State of Confusion (VPRO, 2006-2007). For VPRO, he also made a documentary around the 80th birthday of Wim T Schippers, ’80 years, already – on the T with Wim Schippers’ (2022).
