Robin Imthorn is a marine, author, and speaker who helps organizations address mental pressure, vulnerability, and collaboration. No theoretical models or management jargon, but a genuine story from practice that resonates with people and inspires action.
After multiple deployments to conflict zones, Robin knows better than anyone what extreme pressure, responsibility, and mental strain do to people. This is why he not only talks about resilience but also conveys what it takes to remain human under pressure — both as individuals and as a team.
What sets Robin apart is his ability to make heavy themes accessible without softening them. He speaks directly, humanely, and without embellishment. This fosters recognition, openness, and conversations that typically do not occur within teams and organizations.
Robin knows how to distill complex subjects down to their essence: connection, trust, and taking responsibility for one another. This makes him suitable for both commercial organizations and government agencies, Defense, healthcare institutions, and teams operating under high pressure.
In addition to his work as a speaker, Robin is the founder of Five Five Out, a movement that makes mental health a topic of discussion. Within Defense, he was a co-initiator of KNAK, a platform focused on mental health in operational environments.
Even outside the stage, Robin consciously seeks confrontation with limits and perseverance. For instance, he completed a 250-kilometer ultramarathon through the Namibian desert and a 2,000-kilometer speed march to Ukraine to raise awareness and support for veterans and mental health services. Through these actions, over €400,000 was raised for mental health and veteran assistance.
