1. Mind-Magic-Stage-Show

During this performance, everyone experiences how people are influenced and how our brain works when it comes to making choices. By illustrating this through remarkable mind experiments, the experience becomes unforgettable. All attendees witness an impressive show with much interaction, illusions, and a high entertainment value.

This plenary show can be used as an energiser during conferences, seminars, corporate events,… and is utilised between speakers, as a kick-off or as a conclusion of the programme. It is also possible to use this act as a full-fledged programme, in (theatre) halls, between courses of a dinner as a dinner show, as an opening or conclusion of a festive evening,…

If desired, the acts can be adapted to a specific theme or message.

2. Motivation: More Motivation in the Classroom

How do you truly motivate students? And how do you build a group that wants to learn together, instead of having to function? In this keynote, Richard takes teachers on an inspiring and recognisable journey about motivation and group formation of students.

No ready-made educational models, but beautiful insights that directly connect to daily practice in the classroom. Why does pressure often have the opposite effect? What happens when students experience ownership? And how can you, as a teacher, make the shift from having to do something to wanting to do something — without losing control?

Illusions form a surprising red thread in the keynote. They are used as a metaphor for assumptions, beliefs, and automatic patterns in education. What do we think we see in students — and what is really happening? These illusions create space for reflection, nuance, and change, both for students and teachers.

This keynote encourages thinking and doing. Teachers leave the room with renewed motivation, concrete tools, and a fresh perspective on their role in the classroom. From control to trust. From having to do something to wanting to do something.

An inspiring keynote for study days, team moments, and educational conferences.

3. Close-up Illusions

All attendees can admire interactive illusions, consisting of magic, mind reading, and pickpocketing, up close. Close-up magic can be presented during a reception, between courses of a dinner, or other occasions. Illusions and mind tricks from Dynamo and Mindf*ck will be experienced live by all attendees. This will undoubtedly result in amazed reactions.

4. Combination Plenary Show / Lecture in Combination with Close-up Illusions

This is also a common situation, where I first perform an act on stage and then present close-up illusions while mingling during the reception.

5.   Nothing is What it Seems
6.   How Important is Word Choice?
7. Positive Group Formation in Practice

A plenary, humorous, and practice-oriented keynote by Richard Jansen (14 years of experience as a teacher, coach, and mentor) titled ‘Positive Group Formation in Practice’. In 60 minutes, Richard takes the audience through a practice-oriented story about what you can achieve as a professional if you have insight into how group formation occurs in practice, how you can influence that group formation, and how you can deal with groups that form negatively.

Through a combination of content, recognisable practical situations, and illusions as a powerful metaphor and support for the story, this keynote will leave an unforgettable impression on all attendees.
