He is a co-founder and board member of Postgroei Nederland, a growing movement with the mission of creating a happier Netherlands that lives within the planet’s and humanity’s limits. He gained national recognition with his bestseller There is Life After Growth, his book Continent of Quality, the podcast Life After Growth, and the Just Enough Product Guide. The movement ranked 17th in the Trouw Sustainable 100 in 2024.
Paul is considered one of the most authoritative economic advisors in the Netherlands. He advises ministries, local governments, businesses, social organizations, political parties, and parliamentary committees.
He is also a highly sought-after speaker and economic commentator at events and in the media.
