Born in 1980 in Tambov, Russia, Morgan Ackermann has an incredible life and undeniable talent. He made his first piano attempts at the age of 2, encouraged by his grandmother, an opera singer.
At the age of 15, he obtained his high school diploma through correspondence, with honors. After two years of preparatory classes and a year at the École Normale Supérieure, he made his decision and turned definitively towards music.
While simultaneously pursuing his musical studies at the Moscow Conservatory, he refined his skills with Russian masters at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. He then moved to Siberia, where he lived for three years, working with a master whose name he keeps secret. Neither his friends nor his parents know about this part of his life. It was upon his return from Siberia that his piano technique reached its peak.
After numerous recitals in Eastern Europe and then in Asia, it was during a recital he gave in Tokyo in April 2002 that he was noticed in France. He was offered a French tour, which was a triumph.
In 2012, at the age of 31, Morgan wished to find a suitable partner and decided, to everyone’s surprise, to participate in the second season of Qui veut épouser mon fils on TF1.
