About Mitchel Viljeer
Mitchel Viljeer is a true Rotterdammer at heart, a proud father of two, and a sports enthusiast. When Mitchel is not running, he is working hard for the Municipality of Rotterdam, where he has been employed for 12.5 years. Both his experiences as a Collection Team Leader and his sports achievements he captures with great pleasure to inspire others.
It is Mitchel’s mission to spread work happiness, but also to share the beautiful elements that come with sports, such as vitality and camaraderie, with others. Mitchel always does this with a Rotterdam mentality and a smile, which does not go unnoticed. He has had the opportunity to speak at various companies and host sporting events.
Mitchel is a city manager at the Municipality of Rotterdam. And an enthusiastic snow clearer. The Netherlands got to know him through a video that went viral when he tried to clear Rotterdam of snow. And from that moment on, it was immediately clear that he needed his own reality series on SBS: Mitchel aan de Maas.
