Born on March 27, 1947, in Béziers (Hérault), Michel Fructus is a member of the French Association of Scientific Experts in Tourism. He is also a member of AIEST (International Association of Scientific Experts in Tourism) and was the rapporteur for the French-speaking working group at the BREDA congress (Netherlands) in 1988. Until August 31, 1994, Michel Fructus was a certified professor of economics and commercial management in the Marketing Techniques department at the I.U.T. of the University of Toulon and Var. From September 1994 to September 2007, he served as a first-class lecturer in Planning and Urbanism for Training and Tourism Development at IUT A site in Périgueux, University of Bordeaux IV.
