Marnix Krop
Former Dutch Ambassador
Marnix Krop served as the Dutch Ambassador in Berlin from 2009 to 2013, where he observed and accompanied the remarkable rise of Germany's significance in Europe. Born on September 2, 1948, he completed his law studies at the University of Groningen in 1972. From 1973 to 1975, he pursued a Master's degree in International Relations in Bologna (Italy) and Washington, DC. From 1977 to 1985, he worked at the Wiardi Beckman Foundation in Amsterdam,
