Marco Löw is well-known to a wide audience through the press, radio, and television. The multiple award-winning interrogation expert of the criminal police and successful author of several specialist books was appointed Senator of the Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA) in 2011 by the then Federal Minister of Health, Daniel Bahr.
The BWA has a pool of approximately 180 senators. These are renowned experts in their respective fields. The BWA advises leaders from business and politics together with its senators. Due to his affinity for criminalistics, Marco Löw joined the police service at the age of 20. There, he went through various positions in protective and criminal police. Among other roles, he served for several years as an interrogation trainer, firearms instructor, operations trainer, and lecturer in leadership theory. In addition, Löw was one of the lead investigators of the investigative group Gold, which made headlines nationwide around the turn of the millennium due to its significant successes in dismantling an international trafficking ring.
Since 2010, Löw has been active as an independent business consultant, seminar provider, and speaker. Based on his experiences from several thousand interrogations, he developed the proven Marco Löw questioning system, consisting of 102 cognitive indicators. In combination with body language indicators, the Marco Löw questioning system represents a highly efficient methodology for detecting lies or assessing the credibility of conversation partners.
Löw is among the leading interrogation experts in the German-speaking world. In his seminars and lectures, he captivates participants with his insights from criminalistic practice. Deutschlandradio referred to him as a “human lie detector.” Since April 25, 2015, Löw’s new book “Du machst mir nichts vor” has been on the market, which particularly addresses how to extract information from conversation partners that they are actually withholding. It is considered one of the major new releases of 2015.
