About Laurence Roustandjee

From 2002 to 2008, Laurence Roustandjee presented the weather forecast on RFO Réunion. Additionally, she hosted a health magazine on the same channel “La santé d’abord” in 2008. She also hosted twice (in 2002 and 2003) the “Dipavali,” a show about the Festival of Lights, an Indian celebration. She was also a columnist for the Téléthon Réunion for three years (from 2002 to 2004).

On the radio side, she lent her voice to the character of Mademoiselle Laurence, chief commissioner on “Bato la Réunion,” a radio sitcom written and performed by Thierry Jardinot, broadcast on Radio Réunion. She was part of Thierry Jardinot’s troupe for the 20th career anniversary of the Réunion comedian. The several-month tour concluded at the Casino de Paris in December 2005.

Laurence also acted in several TV movies such as “Joséphine, ange gardien,” “le Roman de Georgette,” “les Monos,” and “Les mariés de l’Ile Bourbon.” She was chosen to play the female role in Didier Cheneaud’s short film “Au jardin,” presented at the La Réunion Film Festival in 2008.

In September 2008, M6 asked her to present the weather with Caroline Morales and Alex Goude. Laurence Roustandjee was spotted by Téva, who offered her to present “A vos papilles,” a magazine for enthusiasts of healthy and gourmet cooking, which she hosted from 2009 to 2011.

She has also been a columnist (weekend tips) since September 2010 on 100% Mag on M6.

Since 2006, she has worked for the La Réunion Film Festival, a 5-day festival that highlights young French cinema and of which Nathalie Baye is the patron.
