Kim Lammers played 200 international matches and scored 124 goals for the Netherlands. She won a gold medal with her team during the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Kim Lammers is a former hockey international and was part of the Golden Generation. As a forward, she played 200 international matches and scored 124 goals for the Netherlands. Additionally, she played 17 seasons for Laren. She was known for her goal-scoring instinct and immense drive.
During her career, she started her own business coaching individuals and groups, which aligned with her studies in pedagogy. She combined that background with her elite sports experience to help teams collaborate better and bring out the best in themselves. After her hockey career, Kim became the director of the Ronald McDonald Centre (a sports center for children with disabilities) in Amsterdam North. After one year, Kim decided to leave this challenging position to focus on her own business. For the past four years, she has developed a program at Deloitte specifically for elite athletes to engage in their societal careers while still active in sports.
She coaches teams and individuals in the business world. Additionally, since the summer of 2021, she has been hosting a radio program at BNR, BNR Sport. In this program, she engages in discussions with various guests about current topics alongside Anne-Greet Haars. They also discuss themes such as personal growth, mental challenges, leadership, celebrating success, and dealing with setbacks. These are topics that are relevant in sports but certainly also beyond.
She may not have been the biggest talent of her generation, but through her immense passion for the game and perseverance, she overcame setbacks and ultimately became a key player in the team. She takes you through a compelling argument on how to get more out of yourself and how you can assist the group process to achieve the highest possible goals together. Continuous improvement, dealing with setbacks, collaboration, and inspiration are important themes that are addressed in her presentation.
She now combines all these elements, and her mission is to get people moving in the broadest sense of the word. Raising awareness about lifestyle, health, sufficient movement, and sustainability. Kim is a motivator, coach/facilitator, and inspirer. She aims to inspire and motivate people through workshops and presentations.
