Kelly de Vries has a background in social psychology and international development cooperation. In 2007, she founded the Meet Kate foundation, through which she led educational projects in Ghana for many years. Later, she became the director of the Peter R. de Vries Foundation, where she dedicated herself to solving cold cases and supporting victims and their families after the death of her father.
In addition to her work as an executive and organizer, Kelly discovered the power of speaking. She delivered impactful speeches during, among other events, the trial against her father’s murderers and the unveiling of the monument in honor of Peter R. de Vries. She was also frequently seen in the media to raise awareness for justice and social issues.
