About Kaj Gorgels

Kaj Gorgels is an online personality, presenter and journalist. He starts writing during his journey through Asia. However, the entertainment industry becomes his preference after a hobby that got out of hand: ‘Kaj’s Typetjes’. ‘Kaj’s Typetjes’ becomes a massive hit on YouTube. In each video, Kaj embodies various self-created characters. Due to his great success on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, Kaj has a large reach. Kaj enjoys presenting, and in 2015 he becomes a reporter for the Veronica program ‘Bonobo’s’. In 2015, Kaj also became the host of the YouTube channel called Concentrate. Kaj made his television debut in 2017 at RTL. He presented the program ‘SOS Mijn Vakantie Is Een Hel.’

In 2018, he presented several programs for Videoland including ‘I Love You Tattoo’, De Beste Verleiders, and together with Yolanthe Sneijder-Cabau, the popular reality series Temptation Island VIPS. At the end of 2018, Kaj Gorgels won the Televizier Aanstormend Talent Award during the Gouden Televizier-Ring Gala. After his own participation in 2017 in Expeditie Robinson, Kaj is now set to succeed former presenter Dennis Weening in the upcoming season of Expeditie Robinson in 2019. Kaj is truly realizing all his dreams as from 2019, Kaj Gorgels can be seen in theaters. Here he debuts with his own one-man theater show ‘Effe Relativeren’. A theater show in which he cynically and sarcastically addresses the challenges of young adulthood.

Currently, Kaj is fully immersing himself in the world of podcasts and is storming the top 5 with his two podcasts “Effe Relativeren”, where he hosts well-known guests, and “Geuze & Gorgels”, together with Monica Geuze. You can’t miss Kaj on screen either: In 2021, he presents the first Dutch season of the hit reality series ‘Are You The One?’.
