Graduated from ESCP, Doctor and qualified to supervise research in social sciences, Julien Damon is an associate professor at Sciences Po (Master in Urban Planning), a lecturer at HEC, and a columnist at Les Échos. He has notably been in charge of the Solidarity Mission at SNCF, director of studies at the National Family Allowances Fund (CNAF), head of the Social Issues department at the Strategic Analysis Center (formerly the Planning Commission), and the general rapporteur of the Grenelle of Insertion. He has published, among others, “Social Issues: Anglo-Saxon Analyses. Socially Incorrect?” (PUF, 2009), “Social Issues and Urban Issues” (PUF, 2010), “Cities to Live In” (Odile Jacob, 2011), and, more recently, “Blended Families” (PUF, 2012), “General Interest: What Can Business Do?” (Les Belles Lettres), and “The Middle Classes” (PUF, 2013).
