Joost Buitenweg is a versatile chairperson, presenter, and storyteller with over 30 years of experience. He is known for his natural flair, sharp substantive style, and ability to infuse energy and structure into every gathering. Whether it’s a conference, festival, panel discussion, or product launch: Joost knows how to connect speakers and audiences in an inspiring way.

His career began in theater and television, with roles in, among others, Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden, SamSam, and De Kameleon 2, complemented by international productions such as Coronation Street. This experience translates into his work as a moderator and host, where timing, interaction, and credibility are central.

In addition to his stage work, Joost is the founder of Pixelthis (film & storytelling) and co-founder of BGood Agency (purpose marketing and ESG communication). He has also been active as a voice-over and voice actor for films, animations, and games for decades.

With his extensive experience as a presenter, director, and trainer, Joost is available for panels, interviews, moderation, keynote hosting, product introductions, and creative formats – always with an eye for both content and experience.

His work, both projects and personal contributions, has been recognized multiple times with nominations and awards, including the Digital Emmy Award, Televizierring (3 nominations, 1 win), Monkey Bread Tree Film Award, Prison City Film Festival (Best Supporting Actor), Media Innovator Award, LITCommercial Award, Gouden Gids Publieksprijs, and various distinctions at Theaterfestival Den Bosch, Benelux Video & Film Dagen and TROS TVster.
