Jeroen Duijvestijn is an expert in the field of reputation and issue management. He assists executives, boards, and communication teams of organizations in strengthening their reputation, gaining control over stakeholder expectations, and dealing with social and political pressure.
Jeroen worked for the Tax and Customs Administration, where he advised the civil service leadership on the necessary cultural change following the Childcare Benefits Affair. At the Child Protection Board, he was instrumental in the shift towards proactive communication with stakeholders and a constructive relationship with the media. As an issue and reputation manager at Statistics Netherlands (CBS), he recently laid the foundation for integrated reputation management.
Previously, Jeroen was the Manager of Identity and Reputation at Coöperatie VGZ, where he consistently placed stakeholders at the center of corporate communication. This approach was awarded multiple (inter)national prizes, including the FEIEA Award for Best Internal Branding Strategy.
As an independent consultant and sought-after speaker, Jeroen is primarily engaged by organizations operating in complex environments and under significant public, political, and social pressure. In his lectures and workshops, he combines his expertise with experience and real-world cases, providing participants with concrete tools to manage reputation risks, effectively handle social issues, and engage constructively with stakeholders.
