About Jacob Morgan

Jacob Morgan is a professionally trained futurist, international bestselling author and keynote speaker whose work focuses on leadership, the future of work and employee experience. His mission is to help create future-ready leaders, employees and organisations.

Jacob is the author of six books on leadership, the future of work and employee experience. His titles include The Future Leader, The Employee Experience Advantage, The Future of Work, The Collaborative Organization, Leading With Vulnerability and The 8 Laws of Employee Experience. His work combines research, interviews with senior business leaders and examples from organisations around the world to examine how work is changing and what leaders can do in response.

His keynote topics address the capabilities leaders need in a changing world, the role of vulnerability in leadership, how organisations can create an employee experience that attracts talent, and how artificial intelligence is reshaping work. In his work on future-ready leadership, Jacob draws on research involving more than 140 CEOs and nearly 14,000 employees. His employee-experience work draws on research into more than 100 organisations. Across these topics, he explores the relationship between technology and human strengths, and the importance of designing workplaces in which people and organisations can perform at their best.

Jacob is the founder of Future of Work Leaders, a global community for CHROs and senior people leaders. He also hosts the Future-Ready Leadership Podcast, where he speaks with CEOs, researchers and other experts about leadership and the changing world of work.

His work has been endorsed by CEOs from organisations including Unilever, Cisco, Mastercard, Nestlé, Best Buy, SAP, KPMG, T-Mobile, Audi and Kaiser Permanente. He has contributed to or been featured in publications including The Wall Street Journal, NPR, CNN, USA Today, MIT Sloan Management Review and Harvard Business Review.

Jacob tailors his presentations to the audience and the organisation’s context. His keynotes combine research, business examples and practical takeaways to help audiences make sense of change and consider how they can prepare for what comes next.

Topics

1. Future-Ready Leadership: The Skills and Mindsets to Lead in the New World of Work

How do leaders lead when AI, hybrid working, changing employee expectations and global disruption are reshaping the workplace? Drawing on research with more than 140 CEOs and nearly 14,000 employees, Jacob explores the mindsets and skills leaders need to navigate uncertainty, build trust and lead effectively through change.
2. The Human Edge: Why Leading With Vulnerability Wins in the Age of AI

As AI takes on more tasks, distinctly human qualities become increasingly important to leadership. Jacob explores how leaders can combine competence with connection, use vulnerability constructively and build the trust needed to lead people through uncertainty and change.
3. 8 Laws of Employee Experience: How to Build a Future-Ready Organisation That Attracts Top Talent

Employee experience is shaped by more than HR initiatives. Drawing on research into organisations and the principles behind the 8 Laws of Employee Experience, Jacob examines how organisations can create more human-centred, high-performing workplaces that attract talent, unlock potential and support long-term performance.
4. The Future of Work: How AI Is Reshaping the Workplace and the Powerful New Role Humans Play

AI is changing decision-making, collaboration, hiring, learning and the way work is organised. Jacob examines how organisations are adapting jobs, workflows and business models, and why the opportunity is not simply to automate work but to combine technology with human judgement, creativity and other strengths.
5. Bespoke keynote

Jacob also develops tailored presentations around an organisation’s priorities. Depending on
the brief, a keynote can focus on future-ready leadership, employee experience, AI and the
workplace, or the wider future of work.
