Founder of the Real Estate Management Observatory. Specialist in real estate issues. Ingrid Nappi-Choulet is a Research Professor at ESSEC Business School, where she holds the Chair in Real Estate and Sustainable Development, which she established in December 2002. She holds a PhD in Economics and is qualified to supervise research in management (Paris Dauphine) and in the history of urban planning (Sc. Po Paris).
She has authored over 25 publications in academic journals, more than 25 publications in professional journals, and has published four books. Her research primarily focuses on the impact of globalization and the financialization of the real estate industry on real estate markets (offices, retail, housing primarily), on the economics of residential and non-residential real estate markets and the formation of real estate prices, as well as on the management and real estate strategy of large companies. To this end, she established the Real Estate Management Observatory in 2004, to better understand a managerial reality now recognized as rapidly developing and creating value for businesses. She is also a course professor at the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, where she teaches Real Estate Economics.
