Harry Dijkema is a chairperson, interviewer, and certified team coach. He leads meetings where there is something at stake. Harry engages the audience. From the first moment to the last question, he drives the conversation with energy, humor, and a keen sense of what is happening.

What sets him apart from other chairpersons is his unique combination of disciplines. Harry is the only chairperson in the Netherlands who is also a StiR-certified team coach. This means that he not only facilitates events from a format and energy perspective but also from a team dynamics standpoint. Clients who work with Harry receive not only a smoothly running program — they get a meeting that captivates and resonates. With unique working methods, plenty of interaction between the stage and the audience, and insightful interviews.

Harry studied Strategic Innovation Management (MSc, cum laude) at the University of Groningen and subsequently delved into sustainable entrepreneurship and applied psychology. He worked in the start-up team at a Dutch bank, guided hundreds of startups, and built his expertise at the intersection of team development, entrepreneurship, and sustainability.

His specialization: the intersection of generational management, innovation, and team dynamics. Five generations are currently working simultaneously in the Dutch workplace — Harry knows how to lead this conversation without losing the audience. He integrates his team coaching experience not only in separate workshops but also directly into his role as chairperson.

I am not here to simply go through the agenda. I am here to take the conversation further than planned and ensure that people continue to discuss afterwards.

Harry has worked for organizations such as ABN AMRO (chairperson of the ABN AMRO Open Tennis Tournament), Schneider Electric (chairperson of the two-day Innovation Summit), National Police, BAM, and Renewi. As the host of the podcast De Innovatiegolf, he interviews entrepreneurs and innovators about technology, climate, and social impact.
