Eva is an expert in the field of “Entrepreneurship, teams, technology, and investing. Eva is the founder of the first and largest investment fund in technology startups in the Netherlands, CapitalT. She holds a Ph.D. in team diversity and has a doctorate in economics.

As the founder of CapitalT, the first and largest Dutch investment fund in technology founded by women, Eva has a portfolio with more than 25 investments in digital technology and artificial intelligence.
Eva earned her Ph.D. at Berkeley University in California and VU University, where she researched the factors leading to startup success. In Silicon Valley, she followed over 1000 entrepreneurial teams over 5 years and demonstrated that team dynamics are crucial in achieving startup success. Much more important than just a good business plan or a large potential market for a product. Eva is therefore an expert in diversity and inclusion and has extensive knowledge of concrete tools that companies can use to improve culture within the organization.
Her research is widely published in scientific journals. Eva regularly writes for Harvard Business Review and Forbes. She frequently speaks about macroeconomic trends, such as the future job market, the role of AI, and how innovation affects our lives.
She writes a column in Quote about entrepreneurship, investing, and artificial intelligence, is a regular guest at BNR, often joins opinion programs to explain economic current events, and is committed to promoting more diversity in technology and entrepreneurship, sharing her lessons on fostering a more inclusive ecosystem.
