After graduating from the École de Management de Normandie (Le Havre-Caen), Elsa Bembaron worked for two years in the retail sector (Auchan, then L’Oréal) before joining the editorial team of Argent Magazine in 1995. She then contributed to various publications before joining the Figaro Économie editorial team in 1997, in the Money section. She remained in this section for six years. From 2003 to 2010, she was in charge of the "heavy industry" section.

About Elsa Bembaron

She then contributed to various publications before joining the Figaro Économie editorial team in 1997, in the Money section. She remained in this section for six years. From 2003 to 2010, she was in charge of the “heavy industry” section (metallurgy, electrical construction, automotive suppliers, etc.).

During this period, she focused particularly on issues related to deindustrialization, automation, and outsourcing, notably in a blog titled La Mécanique de l’Industrie.

Since 2010, still at Figaro, she has been responsible for Consumer Electronics and Home Appliances, maintaining her interest in industrial issues and production location strategies. She created a new blog, Electro Business, dedicated to these topics.
