Constant Smits van Waesberghe is a professional golfer, golf coach, and owner of 2Peak, which focuses on growth companies that believe in human potential.

From 1986 to 1989, he was the number 1 on the Order of Merit in the Netherlands as an amateur. In 1989, he became a playing professional and participated in various tournaments on both the European and Challenge tours in Europe. He represented the Netherlands in the World Cup and Dunhill Cup in the early nineties.

From 1992 to 1996, he played for 4 years on the Sunshine Tour and the Asian Tour. Constant has gained a wealth of experience in performing under pressure. In 1996, he stopped playing international tournaments and focused on teaching. In 1997, he completed his training as a teaching pro and began collaborating with Friends Of Golf in Nunspeet.

From 2000 to 2004, he was a pro at Golfclub “De Pan,” where he was responsible for the competitive teams that played at the national level, winning the championship twice.

In 2004, he became Head Professional at Golfclub “De Heelsumse” and established the “Golfschool Constant Swing.” His experiences have inspired him to further develop as a coach and to share his knowledge with others.

Constant has attended various workshops from different international coaches in the mental field, such as Pia Nilson (coach of Annika Sorenstam), Gary Wiren, Sabana Crowcroft (Kagami Golf), etc. In 2007, he completed the “Practitioner-NLP” at the “IEP” in Nijmegen and “Solution-Focused Working” at the “NTI-NLP” in Limmen. In 2008, he also completed his “Masters Practitioner-NLP” at the “NTI-NLP” in Limmen.

Since 2009, he has been working for himself under the business name ‘Constant Effect Coaching’ and completed the Personal Coach training at NTI-NLP in 2010. In 2014, he began the Master in Coaching program at the Johan Cruyff Institute.

His mission is: What could be more beautiful than growing the joy in life! This can happen if we are willing to look at the same things differently. It is my passion to embark on this journey together with others and to arrive at beautiful surprises through a process of awareness. Since golf is Constant’s passion, he uses golf as a means to help his clients look at elements of the game differently. He shows that the joy in the game increases, and without this being the direct goal, it turns out that clients play better golf.

The outlined process is not only applicable to golf. It can also be a supplement in various personal and work matters. This allows individuals to adopt a different, more positive approach to life.
