Born in 1971 in Grenoble, Christophe Aribert attended the Hotel School in the capital of Isère before embarking on his professional journey at the Hôtel Beau Rivage in Condrieu in 1991. After a stint at the Restaurant de la Terrasse with Gérard Antonin in Ain, he first entered the doors of Les Terrasses in Uriage in 1993, where he continued his training for two years. In 1995, he headed to the capital, to the Tour d’Argent and then to the Ambassadeurs, the restaurant of the Hôtel de Crillon at that time orchestrated by Christian Constant. 1997 marked the return of Christophe Aribert to “his” mountains, at Les Terrasses. Initially the sous-chef, he took over the kitchen in 2004. He imprinted his style, renewing the menu while maintaining its level of excellence, recognized with 2 Michelin stars in 2005 and 4 toques in Gault-Millau. He won the culinary photography competition of Oloron Sainte-Marie twice (2009 and 2013) and in 2010 he created the menu for the restaurant of the Opéra Garnier in Paris.
Christophe Aribert has published two works: La Brigade de Christophe Aribert (Glénat editions) in 2007 and Aribert (Laymon editions) in 2013.
