Born in 1958, he studied at Lycée Henri IV, obtaining his scientific baccalaureate in 76, then earned his law degree, where oral presentations and ‘exposés’ already revealed his talent as a future speaker. He learned to act in 1981, in theater and television series. He discovered his true talent: the one-man show with Arrivez les filles, performed on the legendary stage of Tintamarre in 1986. But the real turning point came in 1992, during a summer animation session at VVF holiday clubs. The national guide exam was obtained in 1994, and the first tours revealed his particular skills in group animation. It is not just about anecdotes, but about circulating the energy of the participants during the tours.
Founded in 2000, the brand marks the beginning of an experience that has been enriched over the past 10 years, with completely original tours, including The Most Beautiful Butts of the Louvre, a must-see noted by the press and a manifesto of style. This style is due to the personality of Bruno De Baecque, professional observer who tirelessly seeks to open new perspectives, like a mountaineer discovering new routes, to help people (re)discover their own gaze on works of art. He explores the complex relationships between the context of the creation of the work and that of the gaze. Tours for corporate committees and seminars led to conference proposals in 2009.
Starting in 2009 with Air France, then with Total, Bruno De Baecque’s conferences provide an opportunity to dive back into his first love of the one-man show and to show participants what they never imagined: unique moments of discovering new perspectives on works of art, unprecedented keys to observation, reflections that create bridges between art and life, inspired by Marcel Duchamp, Robert Filliou, Daniel Arasse, and others… A successful conference is a blend of substance, form, rhythm, pleasure, laughter, and that energy with which Bruno De Baecque transforms every question or remark into an opportunity to amplify the only true reason to be interested in art: the pursuit of happiness…
