About Bridget Maasland

With a TV producer as a father and a makeup artist as a mother, Bridget Maasland’s career was essentially predetermined from her birth on November 9, 1974. A job in television, preferably as a camerawoman or director, is something Bridget has dreamed of since she was young. Thanks to her mother’s work as a makeup artist and model, Bridget comes into contact with the world of fashion. Her talent earns her several successful modeling assignments at a young age.

After a hectic modeling period in Barcelona, Bridget eventually ends up in television. She does various things for television, including a job as a dancer/assistant in Hans Kraaij’s game show Man O Man. She is then hired as a VJ for the then-young music channel The Music Factory.

After more than four years at TMF, Bridget decides to change direction and makes the switch to BNN. For the program ‘BNN at Work’, she travels for several weeks to Australia (2000), Canada (2001), various countries in Europe (2002), the Caribbean, and Asia, where she tries out the most diverse jobs. Additionally, she presents ‘The National IQ Test’, ‘Lijst 0’, ‘De Hoofdprijs’, and ‘Neuken Doe Je Zo’.

In March 2004, Bridget hosts various guests in her own conceived program ‘The Bridget Triangle’. In the summer of 2004, she presents the program ‘BNN presents AVRO’s Sterrenslag’ together with Katja Schuurman, and in September of that year, Bridget starts working in Japan for ‘BNN at Work’.

In 2005, she presents ‘The IQ Test’ and ‘De Hoofdprijs’ again, and a second series of ‘The Bridget Triangle’ is aired. Until January 2006, she was seen alongside her programs at Talpa at BNN with ‘BNN presents AVRO’s Sterrenslag’.

Bridget presented two TV programs for Talpa. Je Leven in de Steigers, in which she and her construction women completely renovated the homes of affected families in a very short time. Together with Ruud de Wild, she presented the well-known Big Brother.
