About Achim Pothmann

Dipl. Kfm. Dr. phil. Achim Pothmann lives with his family in Unna. As an economist, entrepreneur and university lecturer (Department of New Work/Leadership), he has passionately dedicated himself for over three decades to promoting happy corporate management both practically with his own companies and theoretically.

Dr. Pothmann is one of the leading experts on the future of work, job happiness, and happy companies in the D-A-CH region. He provides pioneering methods that prepare companies for the fundamental transformation of the work environment and make them future-proof. His concepts address the most pressing issues companies face: skills shortages, challenging and costly staff recruitment, unmotivated employees, decreasing productivity, and declining economic success.

As the founder and managing partner of the SchuhHouse stores with 8 locations in NRW, he demonstrated years ago how happy collaboration and leadership boost economic success.
