About Myriam Cohen

Myriam Cohen has a background in chemistry and began her career at Thomson as an engineer. In 1971, she decided to take a new direction in her career and went to study in New York, where she obtained a master’s degree in business administration from Columbia University two years later. In 2000, she earned her graduate diploma in accounting and finance. She is now a member of the French Society of Financial Analysts.

Myriam has an impressive professional background. She began her financial career in 1974 at Crédit Lyonnais as an economic analyst, then she switched to join the financial department of the Indosuez bank where she worked for sixteen years. She changed sectors to work at Lyonnaise des Eaux, where she was responsible for growth and internal development in France and internationally.

1997 marked the beginning of her career as a consultant and professor. She teaches, among other places, at the National Conservatory of Arts & Crafts in the engineering program. Her areas of expertise include: financial analysis, valuation, and advising companies on mergers and acquisitions, development, and new projects.

In June 2008, she worked at AlphaValue as a capital analyst.
