Propelled to the forefront thanks to the TV series Plus Belle la Vie, in which she plays the character of Ninon Chaumette, Aurélie Vaneck has developed her passion and taste for theater and directing since she was very young.

Granddaughter of actor Pierre Vaneck and great-granddaughter of Jacques Becker, some might say that her acting career was in her genes.

However, very early on, Aurélie Vaneck chose to pursue an educational path focused on the arts. From 1999 to 2001, she took cinema classes, then theater, at the Mérignac conservatory under the direction of Gérard David. In 2001, she joined a private Parisian school, SUDDEN THEATRE, led by Raymond Acquaviva. She also took musical theater, dance, and singing classes in parallel.

Between 1999 and 2004, Aurélie Vaneck performed in several plays under the direction of Gérard David, Colette Sardet, and Didier Lang, as well as in three short films directed by M. Soumastre, Jon Carnoy, and Vincent Jouan.

In 2004, she acted in the telefilm Blandine L’insoumise by Claude D’Anna. This same year marked the launch of the series Plus Belle la Vie on France 2. A true springboard, her performance in the role of Ninon Chaumette truly launched her career.

In 2005 and 2006, she acted in Le Tuteur for television, and in 2007 in Une Maman pour un Cœur by Patrice Martineau. In 2008 and 2009, she appeared in the short film Cabaret Nono by Serge Noyelle, with whom she would collaborate again in 2009 and 2010, respectively for Labyrinthe and Barocco. 2009 also marked her film debut in Nicole Garcia’s movie: Un Balcon sur la Mer. She also acted in 2010 for the big screen in the film In Real Life by Dorothée Sebbagh.

In 2011, she acted in the short film by Bertrand Bossard Ricky Pompom, but she also took the step behind the camera. She directed her first short film Mao !, produced by Stéphane Basset and Delphine Landes-Busnel.
