Theresia Volk is a management and organizational consultant for DAX corporations and established medium-sized companies, a long-time executive in the automotive industry (Audi AG) and in educational and consulting companies (both profit and non-profit), Deputy Chair of the German Society for Supervision (DGSv), book author, university lecturer, and trainer for executives on topics such as change management, leadership, and corporate culture.
Across industries—from the Catholic Church, through union-oriented educational institutions to industry and international management consultancies—her unique path has led her to understand the inner workings of organizations from personal experience: the high-performance dynamics as well as the specific paradoxes that leaders must navigate today. She places business mechanisms in the context of societal movements while maintaining a (benevolent) perspective on the individual.
The self-professed humanities scholar (“Thinking helps!”) possesses a distinguished theoretical and methodological background and is in continuous exchange with professionals from academia, management, and consulting.
Her book “Unternehmen Wahnsinn” was nominated for the German Business Book Award in 2011.
Theresia Volk is consulted by leading businesses in industry and services in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
