Sebastian Esser, 37, studied politics and sociology at the universities of Bonn, Konstanz, and Sorbonne (Paris). He completed an editorial training program at the Berlin School of Journalism (18th editorial class). He developed and led the monthly media magazine V.i.S.d.P. and was a political editor at Vanity Fair Germany. He founded (and sold) Spredder, an online shop for journalistic texts, and again published V.i.S.d.P., this time as a weekly online media magazine. Sebastian Esser works as a media developer and author for political and media topics for newspapers and magazines. In 2013, he founded Krautreporter, Germany’s first crowdfunding platform for journalistic projects.
