1. New Leaders: who do you choose to be?

Our current world is far from static. We are challenged by numerous issues. There are also new opportunities, but if we are not careful, we may fail to see them due to a lack of overview, and the compelling nature of the patterns and systems we currently know. How do you remain optimistic? Who determines the direction we take? What does this demand of our leadership, in a time when nothing is taken for granted?

The world of former television executive Roek Lips was turned upside down by a number of intense life events. What followed was a quest for meaningful living, new leadership, and being in transition.

During the interactive lecture, he takes you through his personal story, based on the many conversations with pioneers, leaders, and observers that he has captured in beautiful mini-documentaries. We know where we come from, but what is needed to proceed in a different way?

With unique contributions from, among others, Jan Terlouw, Peter van Uhm, Irene van Lippe-Biesterfeld, Lenette Schuijt, Margareth Wheatley, Paul de Blot, Marcel Levi, Reinbert de Leeuw, Hans Clevers, Betteke Ruler, Jan Rotmans, Patrick Cammaert, Paul Verhaeghe, Vanessa Evers, Marina Diboma, and many others.

Keynote or inspiration session, with room for interaction and personal reflection.

2. Masterclass reputation management

Masterclass reputation management. About crisis communication, stature, and signature of leaders in complex situations.

The reputation of organisations and also of leaders is under great pressure. The expectations and demands are high: transparency, information, and impeccable behaviour. Vulnerable, therefore. A good reputation also creates opportunities. How do you build that? And what do you do when things go wrong? ‘Never waste a good crisis.’
