About Pulp & Fictie

Pulp & Fictie is a literary quiz that everyone can participate in. In the game, two writers compete against each other and against the audience. With associative questions in the ‘Quick Round’, literary knowledge questions in the ‘Opening Lines Round’, hilarious excerpts in the ‘Pulp or Fiction Round’ (can you hear the difference between Real Literature and Pulp?), and if time permits, the ‘Back Cover Moment’ (which book belongs to the read back cover?). With the grand finale ‘Life is Delicious’, the one and only literary hit.

The questions are posed by a highly professional quizmaster from the world of cabaret, theater, and film – for example, Frank Lammers – and the answers are (hopefully) provided by two real writers each time.

Pulp & Fictie was conceived by writer Eva Posthuma de Boer and, due to great success, is once again featured at the traveling theater festival De Parade in the summer of 2010. A pilot for television is currently in the works.
