Born in 1966 in Paris, DPLG Architect/Designer, Philippe Maidenberg had his first experience as an architect overseeing the construction of the Grand Louvre with the agency I.M.Pei & Partners. He then moved to Chicago to work with Helmut Jahn, where he had his first exposure to the hospitality industry, notably participating in the designs of the rooms at the Park Hyatt hotel in Roissy. In 1995, he landed his first hotel project, the first of a long series with the Astotel group (Cachan family). The design
of hotels allows Philippe Maidenberg to express his creativity through furniture and lighting design.
His work is primarily inspired by music, theater, and fashion, leaving an elegant imprint that is always light and unostentatious. After completing around forty hotel projects, including the 123 SEBASTOPOL**** hotel (75002), the 123 ST-HONORE (75008)**** hotel, the Six**** hotel (Paris 6th), the Joyce*** hotel, and the Triangle d’Or*** hotel, Philippe Maidenberg is currently working on the design of several Parisian hotels.
