In 2012, he symbolically connected the five continents by swimming, alongside Arnaud Chassery, an able-bodied swimmer, by crossing four straits, including the Bering Strait.

A 110-minute film of this expedition titled ‘Swimming Beyond Borders’ was broadcast on Thalassa on France 3 in November 2012.

For this achievement, he received the honorary trophy from the newspaper L’Équipe during the Champions of Champions ceremony in 2012.

He is the author of three books: ‘I Decided to Live’ in 2006, ‘I Swam Across the English Channel’ in 2012, and ‘Life is Too Strong’ in February 2014.

Philippe Croizon is now an exceptional professional who fully leverages his experience, commitment, and testimony to benefit companies.

He is also a media columnist, notably for the health magazine on France 5.

By swimming across the English Channel without arms or legs (with a success rate of 10% among able-bodied individuals…), Philippe Croizon aimed to show everyone that nothing is impossible.
