He sees it as his task to shift the boundaries of what is possible in every project to make the necessary feasible. Sustainability is beneficial for everyone! His goal is to create living environments where people demonstrably live 5 years longer.

He has a strong affinity for innovation in the construction & real estate sector. Energy-generating and circular buildings form the basis for Onno Dwars to create a built environment where people can live healthier for longer.

Onno Dwars has received several awards, such as the Yardi Young Talent Award, the Cruquius Medal for his contribution to the circular economy, and the Green Pen for his active role in blogging at Duurzaamgebouwd. He has been listed in the Trouw Sustainable Top 100 for years. The Sustainable Top 100: a prestigious ranking of the 100 most influential Dutch people in the field of sustainability. This made him the most sustainable project developer in the Netherlands. In 2017, he received the Cruquius Medal from the municipality of Haarlemmermeer.
