With a degree in mathematics, she conceived Transapi primarily based on her experience as a teacher in general, technical, and vocational high schools. Transapi is an innovative learning project aimed at those over 16 years old that utilizes the latest educational research. This experimental program aims to provide young adults with a place to learn differently and specifically helps combat school dropout. She teaches at the University and in prestigious business or engineering schools. As a researcher with a doctorate in sociology, she defended a thesis on the educational paths of 16-25 year-olds during which she followed students over several years in very different types of institutions (comprehensive high schools as well as Second Chance Schools, Self-Managed High Schools, etc.) and was able to observe, in real time, young people who were dropping out in these various environments. She has worked for over 10 years as a consultant, particularly in the evaluation of educational policies. She notably participated in monitoring the plan to combat school dropout in the Rhône-Alpes region and in evaluating the experiment “morning classes, afternoon sports” of the FEJ on school rhythms and the role of physical and cultural activity in learning. Thus, she has built a triple vision of the National Education System: 1) from the inside as a secondary school teacher, 2) as a researcher on the effects of institutions and the educational paths of young people, and through collaboration with other researchers, 3) and through her consulting work which has allowed her to observe many interesting experiences, their conditions for success, and the barriers to their implementation as well as the interconnections of local actors. From this triple vision of the National Education System, she has developed expertise in pedagogical innovation for a more inclusive school.
