About Meyade Curfs

Meyade Curfs is a young, digital entrepreneur with a passion for sharing his knowledge and experiences. Meyade has been active in the financial world for over 6 years as an investor, entrepreneur, and speaker. Additionally, he is also a co-founder of Thriven, an algorithmic trading company.

In 2015, at the age of 21, he decided to delve into the financial world. Without any relevant education or background knowledge, he immersed himself in the subject. He quickly realized that the knowledge he gained regarding investing and money was of great added value, but it was never taught to him in the education system. Thus, he decided to take matters into his own hands and speak about it himself.

Furthermore, he and his business partner started the algorithmic trading company Thriven in 2020 through bootstrapping. The company has now successfully grown to 10 employees and hundreds of clients. In addition, he received the award for ‘Young Amsterdam Entrepreneur of the Year’ in 2020 with his other venture.

He has been able to share his knowledge and experiences as a young entrepreneur on various stages and media. Additionally, he has collaborated with SNS Bank to provide financial education to new generations. Soon, he will also launch his own podcast series with BNR aimed at discussing topics that young people and young adults are currently facing, together with experts and experienced professionals.
