Meindert Schut is a versatile presenter and journalist. Until mid-2015, he was Deputy Editor-in-Chief at BNR Nieuwsradio, leading over 100 editors, reporters, correspondents, and presenters. Nowadays, he has his own production company and is still connected to BNR as a project manager and presenter. Meindert has created and developed numerous formats for BNR Nieuwsradio, such as the radio programs Zakendoen Met…, BNR ZZP Café, and BNR Sportzaken. Within the editorial team, he is involved in the digitization of radio. He is co-responsible for the development of the website, social media strategy, and the innovative App of BNR Nieuwsradio. Meindert is also the presenter of De Nationale Autoshow, a weekly radio program about cars and mobility. He produces this program together with Wouter Karssen from Autoblog.nl. De Nationale Autoshow is characterized by a high density of information and a relaxed atmosphere, where the passion for cars takes center stage. Due to the presentation style, the program is accessible to everyone, even to those who “know nothing about cars.” Since 2014, Meindert has been presenting the program Wereldveroveraars. In this program, he delves deeper into the motivations and challenges of international entrepreneurs on a weekly basis. This program is also linked to several events, where Meindert regularly acts as the host. Through his many years of experience as a journalist at BNR Nieuwsradio, Meindert has gained extensive knowledge about leadership, entrepreneurship, digital developments, and automotive topics. Meindert knows how to energize an audience by combining expertise with a relaxed setting, where he also finds room to provoke thought.
